When Julie and Roger Martyn made their tree change from Sydney in 2015 they wanted to create a gourmet product that was ethical, environmentally responsible and sustainable.

Julie is a microbiologist who can cook, bake, preserve and ferment - this makes her a super smart foodie.

 

Roger can turn his hand and mind to the mechanics of most conundrums, he is a unique thinker with a keen interest in sustainable agriculture and nutrient-dense food production.

“I couldn’t give up my cheese…’

Is a common catch cry for those considering a plant-based lifestyle. Julie and Roger see          as a way to cut through this barrier and grow a kinder community.

In 2017 Julie and Roger started producing natural, clean ingredient cheeses that showcased Tasmanian flavours.

 

Using traditional cheese making methods, 

Artisa cheeses boast

full flavoured taste and textures.

 

They do not have additives or preservatives. They are cholesterol free, gluten free, cruelty free and evil corporation free.
